Jake and Andrew’s story began in the digital age — on a dating app. After a brief conversation and exchange of contact information, Andrew accidentally ghosted Jake. Fate, however, wasn’t finished with them just yet. They later matched again on a different app, where Andrew asked for Jake’s number once more — only for Jake to remind him that he already had it. Embarrassing? Maybe. Meant to be? Absolutely.Their first date was spent making chicken parmesan together — or at least, trying to. Without a meat tenderizer, they improvised with wine bottles, laughed through the chaos, and ultimately burned the meal. Pizza came to the rescue, but the night marked the start of something special: a friendship that would quietly grow into love.Jake and Andrew first met in 2017. Over the next few years, Andrew found himself pursuing Jake, who was content with the single life. But time has a way of revealing what’s meant to be. As the years passed, Jake’s feelings began to shift, and the friendship they had built so naturally evolved into something deeper.On July 2nd, 2019, at a Shawn Mendes concert, Andrew asked Jake to be his boyfriend. The moment Jake said yes, confetti burst through the air, and when they left the concert, fireworks from Coors Field lit up the sky — as if the universe was celebrating right alongside them.Fast forward to February 7th, 2025. After the heartbreaking loss of their beloved dog, Jackson, Jake planned a special evening for them to reconnect and celebrate Valentine’s Day early. Following dinner, as they strolled through Larimer Square, Jake stopped, took Andrew’s hands, and spoke from the heart. Then, under the glow of the city lights, he got down on one knee and proposed. Later, Jake shared that he had shown the ring to Jackson before he passed — a gesture that made the moment even more poignant and full of love.Their story is one of laughter, timing, and fate — a reminder that love always finds its way, even when the first attempt gets ghosted.

Andrew met Brayden at college orientation in 2011, and they've been inseparable ever since. Brayden is the kind of friend everyone hopes for — endlessly funny, fiercely loyal, and always the first to show up when it matters most. Over the years, life has brought new adventures (including his prized Shelby), but one thing has never changed: his unwavering ride-or-die friendship. Brayden isn't just Andrew's best friend — he’s chosen family, and there’s no one Andrew would rather have by his side on this day

Andrew and Marissa met in college when they both joined Union Board. After he peristently (and proudly) annoying the absolute mess out of her until she finally agreed to be his friend. Through long music drives, home-cooked meals, and yes, even doing his laundry, Marissa became far more than a college friend — she became a sister. Watching her grow into the incredible physician and woman she is today has been one of Andrew’s greatest privileges.

Andrew met Cami in 2014 through a college organization, and they quickly became friends. Known for her love of pizza and her adventurous spirit, Cami has always brought energy, laughter, and warmth to every room she enters. Over the past year, she has stepped into a new role with grace and love, becoming the incredible mother to Andrew’s favorite little girl, Daisy Mae. Her heart, humor, and loyalty make her a truly unforgettable friend, and he’s so grateful to have her standing by his side on this special day.

Andrew met Andrew in 2017 shortly after moving to Denver, when the two connected on Bumble BFF and quickly bonded over visits to local breweries. What started as casual bro dates soon turned into a lasting friendship. Whether it’s a night out being absolutely feral or a relaxed evening just hanging out, Andrew always matches the moment perfectly. He’s a genuinely kind soul, a loyal friend, and someone Andrew is incredibly grateful to have in his life.  Having him stand by his side on this day means the world.

Jaret is Jake’s younger brother and lifelong best friend — whether he signed up for the role or not. Growing up, the two spent countless hours playing sports and getting into just enough mischief to keep things interesting, including Jake occasionally convincing everyone Jaret had been left at the park, only for him to be found peacefully asleep there. Over the years, Jaret has grown into someone Jake deeply admires: incredibly giving, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand. From helping with projects around our new home to being someone Jake can always confide in, Jaret has been a constant source of support, making him the perfect Best Man.

Nicky and Jake met while working together at a summer camp, where long days supervising kids quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. Between chaperoning field trips, carrying tubes up the stairs at Water World, and managing the occasional Skate City injury, the two quickly bonded through the chaos of camp life. Nearly 15 years later, that friendship has only grown stronger. Nicky has always been someone Jake can count on through every high and every low. Her loyalty, strength, and unwavering support have meant so much over the years, making it incredibly special to have her standing by Jake’s side on this day.

Jake met Colt through Cami, one of Andrew’s closest friends — and now Colt’s wife. Jake and Andrew had the privilege of being a part of their wedding, which made the connection even more meaningful. Over the years, Jake and Colt have built a strong friendship grounded in loyalty, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments together. One particularly unforgettable night at Willie’s Chicken in New Orleans may have sealed the deal, turning a good friendship into a great one. Colt’s loyalty and easygoing spirit make him someone Jake is proud to call a Groomsman.
